See Me, Love me, Cake Topper Guarantee

HaPoly Ever Afters wants you to buy in confidence and ordering a bespoke service like a handmade cake topper, can be a daunting task. This is why HaPoly Ever Afters, offers you a “See Me, Love Me” Guarantee. I am so confident you’ll love your item, you have the option to a full refund, before I post it out. No questions asked.
If you do not like your topper or feel it is not what you requested, when I send you your finalised photographs, all you have to do is, let me know and I will offer a complete refund.

Returns & Refunds Policy

You will need to contact me and explain why you no longer want the item before returning it. Due to the order being custom made just for you, the following conditions apply. In this case;

•To return your item, you should contact me on the email address above.
•You will be responsible for paying for ALL shipping costs relating to your order.
•All shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was damaged (See below).
•You should consider using a tracked shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
•Items must be returned in an unused, condition and in all the original packaging, as received.
•Once an item is returned and inspected for damage, a refund can be offered.
•If a returned item is shipped international, please clearly mark the package ‘RETURNED GOODS’, to avoid any Customs charges. HaPoly Ever Afters is NOT responsible for any return Customs charges made. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

Your figures/cake topper and accessories will generally not arrive fixed to the base when possible. This is to minimise any damage that may be caused during transportation. They can be fixed into position in minutes using a small amount of superglue.

Delivery Standards

HaPoly Ever Afters want you to receive your cake topper in exactly the same condition it arrived in. In order for me to make sure this happens, non of the figures will be fixed to the base when possible. This allows me to wrap each element individually with cotton wool and then wrapped in tissue. Once each element is safe in it’s little blanket, I will secure them into the keepsake box. The keepsake box is then packaged up into a larger double wall box and secured using air pockets. eco foam packaging beans and tissues. This box is then taped up and marked fragile.

This method has been developed over many orders and I have also done some home “Stress” tests, so I know exactly how my toppers will behave inside these boxes. I am pleased to say, nothing happens!

Postage costs, take all of this into account and cheaper, really wouldn’t be cheerful.

If an item Arrives Damaged

In the event that an item arrives damaged you must report it within 24hrs of signing for the item.
Although every effort is made, to ensure safe arrival of your order, Cake Toppers are delicate and can occasionally be damaged in transit. If this is the case;
•Take photos of all packaging
•Take photos of the damaged item

If an item arrives damaged beyond repair

If your topper is damaged and you just aren’t happy with it being fixed, you can by all means return it back to me and I will give you a full refund providing all the following criteria are met;

•Take photos of all packaging
•Take photos of the damaged item

Unlike, most bespoke ordering services, HaPoly Ever Afters are happy to take on responsibility for ensuring your topper gets to you in the condition it left its creation place. All HaPoly Ever Afters cake toppers are personally packaged with care and the last thing I want is for you to receive a damaged topper, so please understand the nature of transporting delicate items, and I will do everything I can to rectify your order.

Toppers should be easily fixable with superglue, but if you are not happy with this, we can work out how you would like to proceed. When receiving a damaged parcel, be sure to follow the steps above.

If you break your cake topper

If you break your own cake topper HaPoly Ever Afters can not be made responsible but are willing to help. Cake Toppers are delicate so please be careful when handling as they can be easily damaged. On a good note, Polymer Clay Cake Toppers can be easily repaired, most of the time. Please feel free to contact me at any time, as I can try to repair or replace any parts upon your request. In this case you will need to;

Contact me and explain what has happened
•be a HaPoly Ever Afters customer
•Send photos of the damage
•You will be responsible for All postage charges incurred

Once I receive your email, we can discuss the repair or replacement and will give you a quote when possible, by looking at photos.

Please make sure, you give yourself plenty of time to order your topper. In the event of transit damage or accidental breakage, a suitable solution can always be found if we have enough time to repair or replace.
